The artist was born in Castlegar, BC, but had a rather nomadic childhood living in small towns and farms.  She spent many afternoons in the company of pets and nature.  She has lived in North Vancouver for the past twenty years with her family and two rescue dogs.
 
Her inspiration comes from her own life experiences and feelings.  Sometimes it is quite dark and introspective; other times it is light and joyful.  She works mainly with acrylics and mixed media.  She is mainly self taught but has attended classes at Emily Carr and continues to enjoy workshops and demonstrations.
 
She belongs to the North Shore Artist’s Guild and the North Vancouver Community Arts Council.  Some shows she has participated in are:
